Côte des Bar
Located in the southern part of Champagne, characterised by Jurassic slopes overlying Kimmeridgian limestone bedrock. The Cote des Bars encompasses a patchwork of vineyards with many different exposures. The predominant planting is Pinot Noir (84%) which has a reputation for producing wines with a distinctive lightness that is much-sought after by the master blenders of Champagne’s leading Houses.
