Montagne de Reims
The region is located around Reims Mountain, from Reims to Epernay, and contains nine Grands Crus villages. Its soils are chalk based, planted predominantly in Pinot Noir (41%). This region produces robust wines with a crisp palate and fragrant nose – qualities that give Champagne their backbone.
